Discover the coastal town of Tigre and its main attractions on a full-day excursion, including a riverside lunch and return boat trip!
You'll start your day with a pick-up from your hotel in central Buenos Aires. En route to Tigre, you'll pass through the city's residential neighborhoods, including San Isidro, where you can admire the neo-Gothic cathedral and elegant mansions lining the river.
On arrival in Tigre, you'll embark on a one-hour cruise through the Paraná delta. You'll navigate the five main rivers that make up the lower delta: the Luján, Tigre, Sarmiento, Reconquista and Arroyo Espera. Along the way, you'll discover the beauty of the ochre- and green-hued landscapes, the canals shaped by nature, classic rowing clubs, the Tigre Art Museum, as well as the unique way of life of the islands' inhabitants.
After the cruise, you'll be served a three-course lunch at a riverside restaurant, such as Restaurante Baruc or Vivanco. You'll also have the opportunity to visit the typical Puerto de Frutos, an artisanal market characteristic of the region.
For the return trip, you'll board a premium boat for a two-hour navigation on the Río de la Plata, offering unrivalled panoramic views of the city of Buenos Aires, worthy of the most beautiful postcards. You'll pass iconic sites such as the River Plate Monumental Stadium, the city of San Isidro with its neo-Gothic cathedral, the San Fernando district (the "Rowing Capital"), and enjoy a unique perspective of the city from the river. The tour ends in Puerto Madero, where you can continue your exploration of Buenos Aires.
