Rent a bike for the day and take advantage of Chicago's vast network of cycle paths to discover the city at your own pace!

There's no better way of exploring a city than on a bike! Once you have collected your bike, you can take your time as you cycle through Chicago's various neighbourhoods. From the city's parks to the business district and the historical sites that surround Lake Michigan, you won't miss any of the city's most characteristic views!

To give you an easy ride, you can choose from multiple collecton points. You will be be provided with a lock so that you can leave your bike to visit the city's monuments and attractions in all security. You will also be given a map indicating the best cycle paths of the city, as well as the must-see monuments and sites. Ride through Chinatown, Lincoln Park, Museum Campus, Navy Pier and more!

Gut zu wissen

  • Availability: every day (opening days and hours of the collection points depend on the location and season – see below)
  • Duration: 1 day
  • Opening times and locations of collection points: from 8am to 10pm, according to the main collection point (full details listed in your voucher)
     
  • To collect your bike, just present your booking voucher to the service provider
  • Proof of identification (passport / ID card) or a valid credit card is required to collect your bike
  • For your comfort, clothing and footwear suitable for cycling are recommended
  • Please allow 15 minutes for preparation (verifying your booking confirmation, preparing your bike and other equipment etc.)
  • All bikes are equipped with a locks, meaning you can take breaks or leave your bike whilst visiting sites
  • It is possible to partake in this tour with very young children, but they must be at least 1 year old and able to stand up. Child seats can be provided by the rental agency on request (subject to a small additional fee)
  • At  the end of your bike ride, you should return your bike to the departure point. If you wish to return it to a different point, an additional charge of $5 per bike will be applied (payable directly to the rental agency)
