Go and discover Ria Formosa Natural Park and visit Deserta and Farol Islands!
You will board a catamaran to sail from Faro and navigate across the canals of Ria Formosa. You will enjoy landscapes of the natural reserve and the numerous animals that live there, such as herons and storks.
You will make your first stop at Culatra Island which makes up part of the natural park. There, you will visit Farol Village and see its large lighthouse and pier leading to Cape Santa Maria, the most southern point of Portugal. You will stroll through the small lanes of the village and along the beach, you may even be able to see the village's clam cultivators.
You will then head back towards Deserta Island, the second island, also known as Barreta Island. There, you will be have the choice between relaxing on the beach, enjoying the sun and going for a swim or going for a walk to observe the fauna and flora of the island.
