Maui is the second largest island in the Hawaiian archipelago. The Hana Highway is a scenic 88 km road with 620 bends and 59 bridges; it has fantastic views of the island's varied landscape. From bamboo forests to volcanic boulders, waterfalls, ocean and exotic flowers, this day out will give you a taste of the island's riches and lush vegetation. This tour by people-carrier will make several stops, so you can admire these must-see sites up close and immerse yourself in Hawaiian traditions. You'll also get the chance to cool off in the waterfalls' crystal-clear waters.
On the programme:
- Local breakfast overlooking the mountains of West Maui. On the menu: fresh fruit, pastries, hot drinks and juices.
- Pa'ia Town: considered the windsurfing capital of the world and known for its many restaurants and shops.
- Kaumahina National Park: located in the heart of a dense forest, an ideal place for a relaxing moment with a breathtaking view of the ocean.
- Upper Waikani Waterfalls: also known as the "Three Bears Falls", these are three impressive 20-metre-high waterfalls.
- Ke'anae Peninsula: formed by lava from the Haleakala volcano, a site where waves crash against the volcanic boulders.
- Pua'a Ka'a National Park: a series of natural pools formed by waterfalls, perfect for a refreshing dip in their turquoise water.
- Wai'anapanapa National Park: a natural area with volcanic rocks, black sand beaches, ancient lava flows and seabirds.
- Hana Farms: located in the heart of the rainforest along the "Hana Highway". Lunch break: tropical fruits, dishes prepared using spices and local products grown on the farm.
- Hana Bay: use the drive to admire the best views of the bay.
- South Wailua Waterfall: one of the island's highest waterfalls.
- Kipahulu Valley and 'Ohe'o Gulch: best viewed while crossing a bridge on the road to the southwest.
- Kaupo region: sparsely populated cattle farming region where volcanic rocks give way to dry grasslands.
- Maui hinterland: a volcanic region in the highlands around Haleakala volcano that's ideal agricultural land.

- Meet-up point: your hotel on Maui. Hotel pick-up is available at most hotels on the island. If your hotel isn't served by our local tour operator, they will ask you to go to the nearest meet-up point. Pick-up is only available from hotels
- Please don't leave any valuables on the bus
- The activity is free for children under 3 years old. However, they will not be allocated seats on the bus and will have to sit on an adult's lap
- Please note that this tour involves plenty of winding roads The tour is therefore not recommended for pregnant women and people with back problems.
- Don't forget your swimwear and a towel if you want to swim in the natural pools.
