Learn about the life of the Viet Cong during the Vietname war!
Visitors will be picked up from their hotel, and driven to the Cu Chi tunnels, which are approx 60 km (37 miles) from Ho Chi Minh City. To start the day off on the right foot, enjoy a snack of yogurt, fruit, wine and water.
Cu Chi was an important combat zone during the Vietnam war. Numerous surprise attacks were launched against the Americans from here, thanks to the stunning system of ingenious tunnels.
Enter these narrow tunnels, some which run for more than 220 km (137 miles). They were built so that the Vietnamese soldiers could enter, but for the Westerners they were too small. Visitors can put themselves in the shoes of the Vietnamese soldiers by shooting an AK-47, a weapon invented by the Soviets. Discover as well the conditions the soldiers lived in at the time and the objects they used.
Finish the visit with lunch at a local restaurant. Visitors will then be returned to their hotel in the afternoon.
