Dive with the sea lions on the Garden Road during your stay in Cape Town!
Your experience begins at the Great White House in Gansbaai. After meeting the guiding team, you will board a comfortable boat for a 20-minute journey to Dyer Island, located in a protected marine reserve.
On the way, you will enjoy scenic views of the Garden Route coastline and may even have the chance to spot dolphins or whales, depending on the season. You will then reach Hospital and Batchelor Rocks, near Geyser Rock, home to over 60,000 Cape Fur Seals.
Guided by a team of experts in animal behavior, you will spend around 20 to 30 minutes in the water with these playful and curious animals. Full diving equipment is provided (wetsuit, gloves, fins, mask, snorkel), along with flotation devices for rest breaks. Participant safety and wildlife welfare are ensured at all times.
After the dive, you will return to Gansbaai on the boat, with a 20-minute journey back. You’ll have the opportunity to take a shower or enjoy a meal at The Great White House Restaurant (at your own expense). The activity also includes a free visit to the African Penguin & Seabird Sanctuary.
