Travel on a historic tram, and discover Lisbon’s beautiful neighborhoods!

The tram will take visitors to all the hidden and wonderful neighborhoods in Lisbon. Observe how different cultures, regular buildings, and archeological discoveries are all mixed together.

Discover the traditional atmospheres of the old neighborhoods of Alfama, Castelo, and Bairro Alto. Visitors can step off the tram and lose themselves in the narrow and colorful alleyways. If you look carefully, you might catch a glimpse of the river between the flowery doors and iron balconies.

Get back on the tram at the foot of the castle and head to the top. Visitors can also take the Santa Justa Lift, known for its architecture, which allows one to travel without any effort.

This ticket also grants access to all public trams, the Santa Justa Lift, and the funicular for the ideal visit to Lisbon!

  • Availability: Every day (excluding exceptional dates)
  • Departure point: Praça de Comércio
  • Times: from 9:30am to 6pm (9:30am to 5pm from November to March
  • Frequency of trams: Every 20 minutes

 

  • Important, the Tram circuit will not allow you to get off along the way. The circuit makes a loop starting from Praça do Comercio after its first use. For example, if you use the pass for the first time at 5pm on a Monday, it will be valid until 5pm on Tuesday
  • The pass can be validated at the airport for use on the Aerobus, otherwise visitors may take it to the provider's office or any of the trams for validation.
  • You will be asked to indicate a provisional date for your visit when you book, but your pass is not restricted to this date – it will only be activated upon first use and valid for the chosen duration Even if you purchase the pass today, it can be used whenever you please during your trip, within 3 months of purchase.
  • While the pass is valid, visitors also have free access to the aerobus, public transport, Santa Justa Lift, and the funicular
  • Tramcar Stop number 2 (Portas do Sol- Castle of São Jorge) is suspended
  • The tour starts and ends at Praça do Comércio and doesn’t do any more stops
     
  • From July 30, 2024, due to the work, the visit will be shortened to approximately one hour. To compensate for this shorter circuit, a free excursion on the Yellow Boat is offered during the validity of the 24-hour ticket. Departure times are as follows: 2 p.m., 4 p.m. or 6 p.m. Your ticket will be stamped for this purpose
