Enjoy a two-day excursion in the Drâa valey with a night in the Zagara desert!
Day 1: Marrakech, Ait Benhaddou, Ouarzazate, Drâa valley, Zagora
Departing from your hotel in Marrakech, you will take the road towards the maroccan Atlas. On your way there, you will enjoy a view over the rocky landscapes and the Berber villages. Your first stop will take place in the Kasbah Ait Benhaddou citadell, classified as UNESCO World Heritage and film set for numerous Hollywood films. You will then head for the charming cityof Ouarzazate, where you can have a lunch in the many restaurants the city has to offer.
As you arrive in the desert of the Drâa valley, you will set off in the desert on camelback and enjoy a stroll before arriving at the Zagora campsite. There, you will have dinner and spend the night in a bivouac in the heart of the desert.
Day 2: Zagora, Agdz, Ouarzazate, Tizi N'Tichka, Marrakech
You will wake up in the morning and admire the sun rise over the sand dunes. After our breakfast, you will leave again on camelback. On your way back, you will travel through Drâa and stop at the small village of Agdz. You will stroll through Tizi N'Tichka, known for its rocky landscapes.
You will arrive back to your hotel in Marrakech by the end of the afternoon, with loads of fun memories to share!
