Visit two of Mexico City's must-see attractions accompanied by a guide: Chapultepec Castle and the National Museum of Anthropology!
You'll join a professional guide, and begin your day with a visit to Chapultepec Castle (approximately 1.5 hours), which was the former summer residence of Bernardo de Galvez. This castle was built in the 18th century and features numerous opulent rooms, marble staircases, and numerous sculptures of famous leaders such as Cuauhtémoc and Hernán Cortés.
After a lunch break (you're free to choose where you eat), you'll continue your day with a visit to the famous nearby National Museum of Anthropology (about 2.5 hours). Inaugurated in 1964 this museum celebrates Mexico's indigenous heritage, and it houses an impressive collection of pre-Hispanic objects gathered from all over the country. In the company of your guide, you'll trace the history of the various Mesoamerican civilizations and get to admire one of the museum's masterpieces: the Aztec calendar!
