Enjoy this guided day trop to the 5 neighborhoods of New York City: Harlem, Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, and Coney Island!
Leave Manhatten by bus with your guide, and head to Harlem. Situated North of Manhatten, Harlem was a chic residential quarter until the stock market crash of 1929. Today, it is known as the cradle of jazz in NYC, and as a center for African-American culture.
Your guide will take you by the Apollo Theater and Theresa Hotel, which has been visited by the likes of Louis Armstrong, Jimi Hendrix, Mohamed Ali, and more.
Next, head for the Bronx, home of the New York Yankees. This is the neighborhood that gave birth to hip-hop and street art! Your guide will take you along the main roads and tell you all about Prohibition in New York.
Following the Bronx, you'll next discover Queens. and the Malba residential quarter, as well as Flushing Meadows park, known for its large green spaces, and tennis courts that host the Grand Slam.
Then it's on to Brooklyn, where you'll see the famous Williamsburg Bridge from which you can admire Manhattan and the Brooklen Bridge. You'll also get to see Crown Height, a calm residential neighborhood that is home to a large Jewish community.
Finally, you'll visit Coney Island! This is where New Yorks come to relax (this stop at Coney Island is only available during the high season, from April to October and is not scheduled from November 1 to March 31)
There will be free time for lunch, and you guide will take you to the Lower Bay board walk. Along the way back in the bus, you will stop at the Brooklyn Bridge! Take a moment to snap some photos before returning to Manhattan.
