Founded in 1891, the New York Botanical Garden exhibits the iconic floral landscape of the North-East. The decor and atmosphere of this urban oasis evolves throughout the seasons:
- In summer, admire the abundance of flowers dotted throughout the 50 gardens and plant collections of the park including the Peggy Rockefeller Rose Garden, the Azalea Garden, the cherry trees and more.
- In the fall, experience the various warm colors of New York’s original forest, the last preserved woodland in New York.
- Winter welcomes the traditional “Holiday Train Show”, a train that journeys through 150 American landscape, recreated from bark, leaves and other natural materials.
- Come the spring, “The Orchid show” exhibit celebrates the return of sunny weather.
