** This cruise is only available departing from Crystal River, a city located about 90 mins from both central Tampa and Orlando. You must make your own way from Tampa to Crystal River**

Get up close to wild manatees in a protected natural park!

Departing from Crystal River, you board a small boat and put on your diving equipment (dive suit, mask and snorkel). You'll first enjoy a short cruise on the river to admire the magnificent natural scenery.

When you arrive in the wild manatee's habitat, you'll slip into the water to swim in their company! Slowly and in silence, they will come up to you to get to know you better... with their impressive size and their gentle and peaceful character, these creatures are very endearing. You will have approximately 90 minutes to touch, pet and play with the manatees.

You'll then make the calm journey back to the bank with plenty of amazing memories!

  • Availability: every day (apart from exceptional dates)
  • Duration: approx. 1 hour 30 mins
  • Time: 6am or 11am. To meet the most manatees we recommend that you book the 6am tour
  • Departure point: Crystal River, roughly 90 minutes from Tampa and Orlando (exact address indicated on voucher)
  • To take part in this activity, simply present your voucher to the local tour operator on the day
  • All participants must be able to swim
  • Children under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult
  • Your guide will speak in English
  • This tour may be cancelled in the event of bad weather conditions. In this case, you will be offered a refund or an alternative date
  • The temperature may be cold in the river. We recommend bringing a jumper with you on this tour
  • During March and April, we cannot guarantee a large presence of manatees as they migrate for over 2 days when it is warm
