Discover the world-famous Palace of Versailles! The sheer grandeur and elegant style of this historic site promise to leave you spellbound. 

Learn about the palace's history as you admire the splendor of this architectural masterpiece, built during the reign of Louis XIV. 

Located to the west of Paris in the town of Versailles, this palace and its estate were created in honor of the glorious French monarchy.

With your admission tickets and audio guide, you will be free to explore the historic monument at your own pace.

The audio-guided tour includes the royal apartments, the King and Queen's chambers, plus the famous Hall of Mirrors.

Once you've thoroughly explored the inside of the château, you can discover the ornate formal gardens and their magnificent sculptures.

  • Availability: Tuesday to Sunday (excluding exceptional dates)
  • Departure point: central Paris, 75001
  • Getting there: metro Palais Royal (lines 1 and 7), Pyramides (lines 7 and 14) or Tuileries (line 1)
  • To take part in this activity, simply present your voucher to the service provider on the day
  • Pushchairs are not permitted inside the palace
  • Comfortable footwear/flat shoes recommended (parquet flooring inside the palace and cobblestones without)
  • Accessing the palace may prove difficult for those with reduced mobility
  • Photography without flash is permitted inside the palace
  • Due to high demand, we recommend that you avoid visiting on a Tuesday morning
     
  • From March to October, a supplement entry fee (payable on the day) is applied to the gardens at Versailles for the following special events/dates:

    The Fountain Show     (Saturdays and Sundays from April 2 to Oct. 30, Tuesdays from May 24 to June 28, plus May 5 and July 14)
    The Musical Gardens (Tuesdays from April 5 to May 17 and from July 5 to Oct. 27)
    Fridays from July 1 to September 30
    National holidays and exceptional dates

  • To ensure the comfort and safety of customers, the organizers and partner organizations reserve the right to cancel or modify certain excursions without prior warning, including in the event of protests or strikes
