Private Tour of The Great Wall of China & The Summer Palace in Beijing

In the early morning, your French-speaking guide will meet you directly at your hotel to begin this full-day exploration from Beijing.

You will head by private car to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall of China, a less crowded site compared to Badaling or Juyongguan. This section is especially suited for families, with optional access by cable car or toboggan. Dating back to the Ming Dynasty, it offers breathtaking views of the surrounding hills.

You will have 2.5 hours to explore this UNESCO World Heritage site at your own pace.

Next, you will enjoy a typical lunch at a local restaurant, a great opportunity to delight in traditional Chinese flavors.

In the afternoon, you will return to Beijing to visit the Summer Palace, an imperial residence and masterpiece of Chinese landscape gardening. Built in 1750, restored in 1886, and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this site combines natural elements hills and lakes with man-made structures such as pavilions, halls, temples, and bridges to create a harmonious architectural ensemble. It is often referred to as the “Versailles of China.”

Your day will conclude in the late afternoon with your return to the hotel.
