Beschreibung

Discover the Papallacta thermal baths, in the heart of the mountains, and treat yourself to a relaxing evening break during your stay in Quito!

You'll be picked up from your hotel or a meeting point in Quito and driven to Papallacta, the town where the thermal baths are located, which sits an altitude of over 3,000 metres. 

To get there, you'll follow the scenic route into the Amazon jungle, passing through some small villages before reaching Papallacta; from here you'll be treated to some fantastic views of the mountains and glaciers. 

On arrival, it'll be time to relax and unwind in the heart of nature and far from the hustle & bustle of the city. Take a dip in each of the 9 pools at your disposal, all of different temperatures and sizes. The thermal water is excellent for your body and well-being. 

At the end of the evening, fully relaxed and rejuvenated, you'll be driven back to your hotel in Quito.

Gut zu wissen

  • Availability: every Friday (except in exceptional circumstances)
  • Duration: 5.5 hours (including about 2 hours in the thermal baths)
  • Time and place of departure: pick-up from the Kaia Hotel at 5:40 pm on Fridays and Sundays. You can also choose to be picked up from your hotel (at an additional cost), in which case the exact time will be reconfirmed after booking
  • The entrance ticket to the thermal baths is not included; you'll need to pay this on arrival
  • For pick-up at your hotel, you must specify the name of the hotel when booking. Alternatively, you can choose to meet at the KAIA hotel (Valladolid N24-742 and Julio Zaldumbide) for pick-up
