Take advantage of a sailboat cruise in Guanabara Bay and observe Rio from another angle! Admire the surrounding landscape and decor.
Sea Captain Cassio Gurjão will welcome you aboard his sailboat and offer you an aperitif. He will navigate out to sea where you will be left with a magnificent view of the city. Guanabara Bay is center-stage for a number of local and international sailing events. This is also the entrance to Rio’s main port.
A cruise in the Bay will give you a beautiful view of the coastline and will allow you to see the city’s iconic landmarks in a whole new light: the statue of Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain!

- 2 hours: Explore the bay (with views of Sugarloaf Mountain, the Rio-Niteroi Bridge and the city centre)
- 4 hours: Explore the bay + navigate along the coasts of Itaipu or Copacabana and Ipanema
- 6 hours: Explore the bay + navigate along the coasts + sail in open seas towards the Cagarras Archipelago

- The sailboat will be reserved for you exclusively. It can accommodate up to 10 people
- The 6-hour long cruise is not recommended for individuals susceptible to seasickness
