Visit a husky and reindeer farm, enjoy two animal-drawn sleigh rides and drive a snowmobile through the Lapland forest!
You'll be transferred from your accommodation in Rovaniemi or directly from our partner's agency (depending on the option you choose), and head off into the snowy forests of Lapland.
You'll arrive at a traditional Lapp farm, home to huskies and reindeer. You'll meet the herders, from the Sami people, one of Lapland's indigenous peoples. They'll tell you more about life on the farm and how they care for the animals in Lapland's unique climate.
You'll also get to know the reindeer and huskies. If you're comfortable enough, you can follow the herders to feed the reindeer - don't worry, they're very gentle animals and used to living in groups.
You will then be equipped for the extreme cold: wetsuit, boots, gloves, balaclava and helmet, and climb aboard a sled. You'll then enjoy a short reindeer-drawn sleigh ride, followed by a second short dog sled ride. During these two rides, you'll discover the different sensations offered by a sled pulled by reindeer, and you'll be able to observe the snow-covered landscapes of Lapland.
Your driver guide will then take you to a snowmobile rental agency. The professionals will give you a few safety instructions, and then you'll hop on your snowmobile to discover Lapland's picture-postcard landscapes. There will be two of you on a snowmobile, a driver and a passenger. If the passenger also has a valid driving license, you can swap places during the ride.
You'll enjoy an hour-long snowmobile ride, crossing forests and even an icy lake.
At the end of your activity, you'll be driven back to Rovaniemi, after a thrilling day in Lapland.
