Set off on this day trip on the southern side of Santorini, and discover its most famous monuments and unmissable sights!
Your journey will begin with a trip to the Monastery of the Prophet Elias, 550 metres above sea level, which is the highest point on the island. Take in the panoramic view of the islands from this exceptional viewpoint!
You will then set off to Megalochori, a traditional village of the islands, where your guide will teach you all about the architecture of Santorini and its local traditions.
Then, you will head to Perivolos Beach and have approximately two hours of free time to relax, enjoy lunch or swim in the clear waters of the Aegean Sea.
After this break, you will head to a local wine cellar, and have the chance to taste the island's very own wine.
Finally, your journey will take you past the Vestiges of Akrotiri. Your guide will show you impressions of Minoan civilisation which are the symbol of this major cycladic archaeological site.
At the end of the afternoon, you will be taken back to Fira by bus.
