Beschreibung

Enjoy a hike up the Teide and rise up to the top of Teide Volcano at 3,718m high!

Departing from Tenerife, you wil board the cable-car to climb 1,999m up. You will start your ascension to the top of the volcano, accompanied by your expert guide. You will admire the volcanic landscapes of the Teide National Park, all while listening to commentaries from your guide who will explain to you how the Canary Islands were formed.

After about 1 hour of walking, you'll arrive at the summit of Mount Teide. At 3,718m high, you'll be at Spain's highest point. Your efforts will be duly rewarded by the panoramic view over the neighbouring islands: La Gomera, El Hierro, La Palma and Gran Canaria.

You will also head to the volcano's crater, with  special permission from the National Park. Upon your return, you will head back into the cable-car, from which you will be able to admire the view of the Teide National Park.

  • Availability: Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday (excluding exceptional dates)
  • Departures: Hotel Botanico taxi station for North Tenerife, Hotel Isla Bonita for South Tenerife or the main meeting point at the Mount Teide cable-car station
  • Departures from the North take place on Fridays
  • Departures from the South take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays
  • Departures from the cable-car station take place on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays
  • Departure time: between 6:30am and 8am, according to the meeting point and the season - your exact time will be communicated to you 24 hours before your activity
  • Departure takes place at 9:15am main at the meeting point 
  • Duration: approx. 3 hours
  • Difficulty level: high

 

  • People with cardiac issues, pregnant women and children under the age of 6 are not allowed to participate
  • Boarding the cable-car isn't adapted to those with reduced mobility
  • You will be asked to present your ID card or passport when going to the path to the crater
  • This activity is subject to weather conditions. In the case of a cancellation, alternative dates or a refund will be proposed to you
